What happens during a consultation with a Cortex Psychologist?
Initially, an assessment of the individual or group need is conducted to ensure that the services provided are specifically tailored and delivered in a structured and well-organised manner.
Therefore, what happens during the first session depends upon your needs when accessing our service. In most cases, the psychologist is there to discuss your situation and listen to you. You may be asked some questions about your background, present situation and any future goals that you may have. This will assist your psychologist and yourself to formulate a management plan with your particular needs and expectations in mind.
